The first ward of Houston Texas

Day 91 in my Legacy Journal Project 2 “shines light on the ignorance and people's perception of the Wards of Houston Houston’s First Ward is a historic district located northwest of downtown Houston, Texas. It is one of the city's oldest neighborhoods, dating back to the mid-19th century. The area was originally settled by German immigrants who built homes, businesses, and churches.

Today, the First Ward is a diverse and vibrant community with a mix of historic homes, new developments, and industrial buildings. It is home to many art galleries, studios, and creative spaces, as well as restaurants, bars, and shops.
